It's easy to design your own solar pool heating system.
Determine
the surface area of your pool.
Mulitply the surface area by 0.7 to
calculate how many square feet of collector area you need.
Determine
the best size of panels to fit your roof or other mounting structure. Panels are 4' wide and come in lengths of 8' (32 s.f.), 10' (40 s.f.) and 12' (48 s.f.).
Compute how many panels are needed.
Order one Panel Kit (PK2) for each panel in your system.
Order one System Kit (SK2) for each row of panels in your system.
Order one Goldline Combo Pack (GLCP) for each system.
We
recommend ordering at least one roll of strap (either Polypro or
stainless steel) to install with your panels. One 100' roll will hold
down up to 12 panels. Note: local building codes may require additional
strapping.
